Can you make zippers with recycled elements?
Yes, we can make it , and we have got the GRS certification.
Can you dye to match custom colors?
Yes. Custom color is our basic service for you. You can get code from YKK Color Card,SAB color card,RIRI color card Pantone Color Card, CCC Color Card etc. Or sending us fabric swatch to follow as well.
Can you email me a PDF version of your color card?
Better not. because there are too much color difference between computer monitors and cellphones. This will result in wrong order produced.
Can you accept any custom design?
Yes. custom design is acceptable, including the Sliders and Pulls,Teeth, Teeth colors, Tapes with variable contrast colors etc.
How do I know what size zipper I need?
Normally it depends on the size of your project and the weight of your fabric. If it's repeat orders, you can check the number at the back of slider or measure the width of crosswise teeth to find and match the size with us.Easy way just come to us with a call,a mail ,a message, we will give you proper suggestion based on your need in shortest time.
How to choose the zipper filtered by material?
Normally below suggestion:
Nylon Coil Zipper: Curved seams, horizontal stress, and general use.
Metal Zipper: Straight seams, heavy materials, and upscale look.
Molded Plastic Zipper: Outdoor, kids, and casual clothing.
Invisible Zipper: Hidden look, perfect for dress;
What's your MOQ/surcharge if not reach?
Open-end zipper: 2000 pcs/color; Close-end zipper 4000pcs/color; if not reach, Tape dyeing cost: $30/color and Pull paint cost: $20/color will be charged.
Can we request for a free sample?
Regular samples can always be provided free of charge if they are available in stock. If not, additional sample/mould cost will be charged to proceed the production.
Will any color transfer occur when light color fabrics are used with dark color zippers?
Please confirm with our staff when you place an order. We are able to improve the color fastness. Sometimes, a piece of lining cloth shall be used for separating the zipper from the fabric when sewing is in process.
What's your average lead-time?
Generally speaking, lab-dip time: 2-3 days;samples take 3-5 days while 10-15 days is required for mass production upon confirmation of the order.
Can you offer design service?
Yes,our design team will collect samples or ideas for your reference in each season.Or you can give topics,ideas,hand drafts etc. for us to try more possibility for you.
Do your products contain lead?
Except for a few specialized items, the lead content levels of HIGER products meet the regulations & standards of OEKO-TEX Standard Class I.
Are HIGER products treated to pass needle detective test?
HIGER will ship all goods which will pass needle detection test defaultly.
How can I avoid safety issues caused by the top protruding edge of coil zipper elements?
The selection of plastic top stops can prevent the exposure of sharp cut element which is highly recommended for infants / kids’ garments.
Do you have Oeko Tex 100 test?
Yes, we run this test once a year to meet the quality requirment from each buyer
How do you control the quality?
We have established a mature QC system to control quality from each process;And we 'll always submit each product to be tested from the 3rd authorized party each 6 months.
Now to avoid the zipper tape twist during dry cleaning?
Repeated dry cleaning or high-temperature drying without closing the zipper will cause the twist of tape. Be sure to close the zipper before washing and drying .
How long it takes to develop custom zippers?
Normally it takes 3-5 days (w/exsited molded puller) or 5-7days( new molded puller)
Can any washing technique be applied to the metal zippers?
Due to the diversity and complexity of the technologies involved in the washing process, Please inform us your washing method for our assessment when placing an order.
